This website is generated using Pandoc, with styling and fonts from the Tufte CSS Project.
Here are the tools and technologies involved in building it. I hope
βπ ππ₯πππ¦π¦π has a personal, hand-made feel, even though some command-line
tools were used in its creation:
- Obsidian: This is my main note-taking app, and I
use it to write in markdown format.
- Pandoc: I use Pandoc to convert my markdown notes
into HTML, making it easy to display on the web.
- Tufte CSS: This CSS framework is inspired by Edward
Tufteβs handout style, offering a clean, minimalist design with elegant
typography. I use a slightly customized version to match my needs.
- Zotero: I rely on Zotero to organize and cite
references. It connects easily with Pandoc, making citations simple to
manage.
- MathJax: I use MathJax, a JavaScript engine, to
display math notation. It also lets users right-click on math
expressions for options like copying the \(\LaTeX\) code.
- Git: Iβm currently learning this distributed
version control system for managing project versions and collaborating
with others.
- rsync: I use this tool for fast, incremental file
transfers, which helps me keep files in sync between my Obsidian and
HTML folders.
- Bash: This Unix command-line shell lets me automate
tasks, like syncing files and running conversions, to save time and
effort.
