This website is generated using Pandoc, with styling and fonts from the Tufte CSS Project.
Here are the tools and technologies involved in building it. I hope
βπ ππ₯πππ¦π¦π has a personal, hand-made feel, even though some command-line
tools were used in its creation:
- Obsidian: I use this note-taking app to write in
markdown format.
- Pandoc: I rely on this tool to convert my markdown
files into HTML format.
- Tufte CSS: Inspired by Edward Tufteβs handout
styles, this CSS framework provides a minimalist layout and elegant
typography. I employ a slightly modified version of the Tufte CSS
file.
- Zotero: I find this tool indispensable for managing
and citing references. It integrates seamlessly with Pandoc for citation
purposes.
- MathJax: I use this JavaScript engine to render
mathematical notation. It also allows users to right-click on the
displayed math for options, such as copying the \(\LaTeX\) code.
- Git: I am still learning this distributed version
control system.
- rsync: I use this utility to facilitate fast,
incremental file transfers, which helps me synchronize files between my
Obsidian and HTML directories.
- Bash: I employ this Unix command-line shell to
automate various tasks, such as file synchronization and conversion
processes.
