A few things worth noting
It’s so easy to just chase the latest blog software or design. I’ve been able to restrain myself and my blog hasn’t changed all that much. I’ve added sections for photos or books and to a large extent my blog has remained the same.
Furthermore, I write to think. Like shown on Fields Notes, I’m not writing it down to remember it later, I’m writing ti down to remember it now. Also remember Leuchtturm 1917 “Denken mit der Hand or in English Thinking by hand” motto.
We write and understand, learn, see and think – with the hand. - Leuchtturm1917
Write something with a tag “recently” to keep a cadence.
I’m incredibly neat in my own space, with everything on the table arranged at right angles. Check musician Tim Hecker.
He uses Jekyll to make the site, GitHub to store it and Netlify to host it. It has been unproblematic. It’s really easy to overcomplicate these things.
Paltry: Very small or inadequate in amount; negligible. “He was paid a paltry sum for his work.”
Cadence: Balanced, rhythmic flow, as of poetry or oratory. The measure or beat of movement, as in dancing or marching. A falling inflection of the voice, as at the end of a sentence. General inflection or modulation of the voice. A progression of chords moving to a harmonic close, point of rest, or sense of resolution. The modulation or manner of utterance peculiar to a particular locality or language. In music, a trill-like ornament. ## Reference
