1. Connecting over collecting: Don’t move fleeting notes to permanent notes. Avoid hoarding, focus on meaningful notes.
  2. Flexibility over structure: Avoid rigid directory/folder structure (unlike this vault, but this is a learning exercise for Obsidian).
  3. Tags over folders: As above, folders separate, tags connect.
  4. Writing over copying: Use your own words, especially when creating permanent notes.
