Self-imposed Constrains

Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler is the original thought here. Self-imposed constrains help with simplifying concepts and processes. However the caveat is oversimplifying at the expense of desired outcome. Therefore, self-imposed constrains may be considered as a form of art to accomplish what we want to accomplish.

If it takes a myriad¹ of steps to go through or of resources to gather to accomplish a job, it becomes increasingly difficult to do it. Self-imposed constrains reduce or eliminate distractions and increase creativity. And creativity is the key which enables us to be original.
